    Instructors are UBC students, all qualified trainers. Very patient, knowledgeable.

    BodyWorks is a unique space that often goes unnoticed due to it's older equipment, but don't let it fool you for how valuable it is. Every instructor and personal trainer obtains at least a personal training certification from a high standard organization (ACSM, CSEP, ACE). Furthermore, each staff starts out as a volunteer, in which he/she receives mentor-ship from staff and also evaluations from management- who also hold at least a degree and a specialization in clinical exercise prescription. The classes are affordable, no more than $10.00 and the personal training pricing is extremely reasonable, considering the high level of education these Kinesiology students are receiving in both their academics and within BodyWorks. Opportunities for volunteering and working are on an ongoing basis. The community at BodyWorks is forever 10+ years strong!

    The course teachers (Kinesiology students) are outstanding. I have multiple injuries and am out of shape. The teachers watch and correct you carefully. They are also just super kind and energetic.
