Very stylish restaurant, great foods, quality products.
Meal was very well cooked, flavored, designed and set. Absolutely delicious steak.
Awesome dressing on salads. The burger was super salty, don't know why.
Store cleanness and tidiness was number one. From washroom to storefront was accurately cleaned.
First impression with waitress wasn't welcoming; When we arrived wasn't anyone at front door to seat us, obviously we went and were about to seat then waitress came and instead of welcoming us, said "if you want to seat here you need to tuck the stroller at the corner". Well of course we wouldn't block the way and we were just about to seat.
In my opinion and experience warm welcome and then direction is priority.
Other than this great place to bring family.
The weakest link was the main... appy was excellent, drinks were really good and then the surprisingly good dessert... of them all, the main was the disappointing part in comparison to the rest of the meal...
First experience. Food was delicious. The service was the reason for my 3 out of 5. Felt ignored, even though the restaurant was empty and I could watch the servers chatting like they were swapping weekend stories. The food presentation was great, and the taste was even better. The menu presentation needs lots of work though. Also poor alcohol presentation and choices. No good whiskies. Will go again just for food.
Absolutely sublime! Food, ambiance and service were all fantastic. The braised pork belly was out-of-this-world: I'd come back just for this dish! We came out for a birthday dinner, had a burger, flight of high-quality, punchy local craft brews, mussels, and the pork belly, and all were mouth-watering. On top of the great food, the open and airy contemporary decor, lively ambiance, friendly service and quaint-but-vibrant Fort Langley vibe will have us coming back again.
My husband and I discovered this place while spending a short afternoon walking around Fort Langley. Although the restaurant was not open the day we walked by, the ambiance appeared to have a romantic, quiet, fine dining feel. A week later, upon arriving for our reservation at 7.30pm, the ambiance was more daytime chic, loud and cold (temperature). Still very appealing but not what we were expecting. I was completely over dressed with the various family tables surrounding us and the amount of jeans in the room (note for next time, wear jeans). The service was a little slow and our waitress didn't have confident answers with the food questions we asked (what the vegetarian feature was and why the cream sauce on the mussels was not creamy as the menu indicated). The food was delicious though. We had the beet salad, mussels, chicken entree and the cannelloni entree (which again wasn't represented well on the menu). I am still giving this restaurant 4 out of 5 because it was our own fault for having expectations and the food was fabulous. Definitely worth a visit and prices were fair.
