Sussex Place

I lived here for 1.5 years until January 2023. I had a very good experience, there were no problems. They graciously accomodated my sudden change in move-out dates with no penalties. I kept the place very clean and received 100% of my deposit back. Thank you Eric.

Good experience so far

I've been here for just under two years. The building is old the apartment units are spacious and very clean they keep up with maintenance very well the staff are very friendly other tenants are also very friendly I have nothing bad to say about living here I've had no problems and no complaints not sure why people give this place such a bad reputation it is a very pleasant place to live

The maintenance staff are great when they are allowed to do the work. The managers are not so great.

Two separate floods that I know of where they did absolutely nothing. One flood the manager told the fire chief he would have a crew in to deal with it in an hour. The next morning 5 hours later, maintenance staff show up on site to a flooded hallway and apartments! To all appearances they hadn't been told anything about the flood.

Last flood the hallway carpet got soaked and absolutely nothing was done about it. Now it stinks to high heaven. Hopefully something will be done now.

Also they keep requesting I prove that my car is insured by bringing in my insurance papers. Sorry but that is private information you can look at my insurance sticker and that's all I'm willing to give.
