(August 2, 2020, 2:00 am)I have the STL power amp, pre amp, and the d/a converter from Albert. I spent one third of the price of the named brand, and got three times better sound stage with my JBL L300 (which was reconditioned by a JBL speaker's expert Brian Simpson from the Kinematics Sound System store).
Albert is extremely knowledgeable, and helpful, allowed me to take the system home and try it out with his presence. He gave me advices, and custom made the components to match my JBL. That was more than fifteen years ago. I still cannot find another system that can match mine, yet.
I love my system, for me, brand name is not important, quality is. Since I do not like trading and up grading all the time. Get the best, and no worry for the rest.
