Hello everyone is my second time in this brewery and I will keep coming to visit, I don’t know where to start. Everyone is very friendly, even the dogs. Yes you read it, is a pet friendly brewery extra points for that, the perfect brewery for have a nice date, party with friends or just come alone to watch a sports game. The variety of beer is nice and interesting I haven’t try all but for sure I will… one day. Support local come and try don’t believe me at all but is awesome good. Last but not least the food perfect 👍
I love their beers and their food is awesome. Disclaimer: it is pub food, not fancy, but pairs perfectly with beer. I hate going to a brewery and there’s no or only sparse snacks available. Dog and kid-friendly too.
Dog friendly patio, delicious burgers & beers, and a Mezcal Mule ON TAP?!?! Ok. Sold. Count me in. Was having a bummer of a day because I got a flat tire on the way to the beach, but thankfully Black Kettle is located super close to the dealers so I turned my frown upside down. Get here before 5:00 because this place gets packed with the after-work crowd. Great hole in the wall, will definitely be back.
We came here on a Wednesday evening - it was busy but we didn’t have to wait for a table. The atmosphere is very relaxed once you get used to all the barking dogs. Nice patio that's not on a loud, busy road. We had chicken strips and burgers and enjoyed them both. Out of the beers, I particularly liked the Session ale. We also scored some free deep-fried pickles when the kitchen closed as they made too many. Will definitely be back as it’s a great, peaceful location on the Spirit Trail and easy walking distance to Mosquito Creek and Lower Lonsdale.
We stopped here on a Sunday afternoon around 12pm. They seem to be running low and out of a few menu options by this time (no onion rings or cherry lemonade beer). Good selection of beers but average food. We tried the fried pickles, Nashville hot chicken sandwich, hot wings, and fish tacos. All were OK but nothing to rave about.
Service was a bit slow as well and got our wing order wrong, however she did let us know that she was fairly new there and still getting to know the menu.
Great covered patio with a few sunny spots.
