Working with Christine was a wonderful experience. I worked with her on my personal financial plan and she did a step-by-step review of all of my finances. She was gentle and empathetic with my situation (student debt, recent breakup, other life events) and offered organization and a fresh outlook on my finances. Prior to meeting with Christine, I felt I was an organized individual, however, I also felt I was lacking some of the basic financial knowledge that might get passed down generation to generation. Christine filled in those gaps and went above and beyond to help me work with what I have. Christine gave suggestions on how to have fun without spending a TON of money, supported me in switching banks to avoid unnecessary fees, and even found an app that allows me to transfer my money internationally with much more convenience than what I was doing prior to meeting her. Now, I’m on a budget that fits my lifestyle and has helped me work toward being debt free. Throughout the program I worked on paying down my USA credit card debt in full. On my last session with her, I was able to pay off my Canadian credit card completely!

Meeting with Annie changed our financial lives. One meeting with her and our journey to financial wellbeing began. Her unbiased advice and financial plan has now prepared us to retire with all of our needs looked after. Annie began with a review of our assets and liabilities, then taking into consideration our lifestyle now and into the future. Everything is then reviewed for the necessary and discretionary expenses, keeping in mind that the ultimate decisions are ours. To say we were "resistant to change" would be an understatement! We reached out to Steve after feeling like we were spinning our wheels with our financial institutions when it came to managing our day to day finances and also planning for the future. Steve takes the time to review all aspects of your financial situation and provides a detailed plan with various scenarios (because we all know things happen in life) at the end of the sessions.
