My girlfriend and I had an excellent time at Cultus Lake, due in part to the lovely people who rented us our kayak for the afternoon. Sanitary measures were in place and enforced while the two staff who walked us through the basics were friendly and knowledgable. Feel free to ask them about the different rental options as the lake appears a lot more "conquerable" from the dry land. Thanks to the staff at Cultus for making a great weekend even greater!
Sea to Sky cares about BC Parks regulations however they favour people that return for work next season and allow them to bully the new staff. Like its not rocket science a monkey can do the park patrol and park operator job. Why not treat all staff equal? Just because someone comes back to a seasonal job should not give them seniority because the job is seasonal. I own a seasonal business and I don't have any favouritism for any of my staff because we are all doing the same seasonal work. Certian people lack leadership skills and should never be in charge of delegating any tasks certian people who lack skill and qualifications for any sort of management job should not get a position like that because they are there longer. Perhaps Sea to Sky would have way more returning staff if they stopped choosing the wrong people to delegate.
