StarShine Daycare

As a first time mom heading back to work I was worried about leaving my child with someone other then family. It didn’t take long before those worries were gone. Shelly is an amazing owner, educator and caregiver of Star Shine. Shelly is clear with children and parents with her expectations. The children have a daily schedule which encompasses plenty of time for free play, arts, circle time, reading time, and walks throughout the neighborhood to different parks. I was fortunate that both of my children could attend Star Shine, it was a great experience and they were prepared for kindergarten once their time came.

My child had the privilege of attending Star Shine until heading off to Kindergarten. I loved that I never had to worry while I was at work; I could feel confident my child was well-cared for and stimulated. Star Shine may be called a daycare, but make no mistake, it incorporates, without a doubt, the best pre-school education. From human anatomy to space to nutrition to making healthy life choices, the kids learn and learn and learn. All this in addition to their ABC/123s! You will be stunned when your toddler comes home and confidently starts talking about red blood cells and their purpose in the body! In addition to all that learning is the "baby bootcamp" (as the parents affectionately called it) - daily abundant exercise with an emphasis on being active. But the best part is how much the kids are loved by Shelly. She truly wants to bring the best out of each of them.
