This is an amazing organization, and I am so grateful I am among the best toastmasters out there. Everyone in this group is really helpful, and non-judgmental of your mistakes, they rather help you and lift you up. They know how to give a positive, constructive criticism, that aims in making you a better you each meeting. I love it and can't wait for more in my journey in Toastmasters

In Autumn of 2015, I finally gave in to my wish to see what Toastmasters was about. I looked on Meetup to see what clubs were close to me and there was Blue Heron. How could I not check out something with the name of one of my favourite birds in the name? It was perfect! It was only a 20 minute walk away from work back then. Now, because of the the incredible support and great energy of Blue Heron Toastmasters, I've been a member of the club as well as a Toastmaster for almost 5 years.

If you're a person looking to find a way to get comfortable speaking in public, this is a great club to join. You never know, you might even find yourself getting comfortable with being a leader, too. I never imagined that I'd take on roles like Secretary of the club and now I'm Vice President of Public Relations...marketing, of all things! Cheers to new adventures!

I finally got to have the "Blue Heron" experience I've been hearing so much about. They didn't disappoint! Great comradery, lots of fun and very supportive of the members.
