(July 28, 2020, 6:53 pm)On July 19 we bumped into Verdi Farm at the corner of Fort x Fort Detour with big signage above their chicken coop "Fresh Berries". We were out randomly searching for U-pick or ready-picked blueberry farms in the area. The fence/gate was shut but an gentleman came from the field to ask us what we wanted. Awkwardly I answered already picked fresh berries. He went to the field and carried a full crater over. At $2.5 a pound I couldn't be happier. It ended up we bought 15 pound at 13 pound cost, he gave us many for free! I think their U-pick was $2. A pleasant experience indeed! Is suggest if you get there call to get someone to open the gate for you.
