I fell in love with the DOST bikes! The only thing even better than the showroom was the great customer service and the test ride! It was such a treat to go to you a place where you really feel valued as a customer.
We own two Dost bikes and have put on 500 km in the last few months
The standard battery seems plenty strong enough and after 3-4 hours of riding there is still well above 50% battery left.
We recently had our first service done at Dost and the bike are built so well that only minor adjustments needed to be completed.
The service technician let us know of what to look for in the future as well.
All in all we are very pleased with our purchase.
I got the Drop bike and am enjoying it. It’s well-made and terrifically sturdy… it has all the hallmarks of a finely-crafted e-bike.
But the bike’s real-world range is highly-disappointing. I’m 165 pounds and ride on flat, paved rural roads almost exclusively, and I’m only getting 23-28 miles on a full charge. That’s riding with the lowest pedal-assist level 99% of the time.
I do live in an area with regularly heavy winds (that’s why I got an e-bike in the first place), but that fact shouldn’t account for such a disparity between the range I’m getting and the 60-mile range Dost advertises.
We had such a great experience with Dōst Bikes. We read a few positive reviews so decided to visit their HQ and take a test ride. The staff was exceptional and answered all of our questions and we later decided we liked their bikes the best. After having the bikes for a few months, we went back for the complimentary first tuneup and were again impressed with the customer service. Great bikes and a great experience all around. Highly recommended.
I arranged a one on one video conference to discuss my questions with a live person. Jenny helped me and she was fantastic! We covered everything from a discussion around the mid drive motor, shipping and delivery. She went down to the show room to show me the models and even got on one of the bikes so I could assess how I might fit on the bike based on her size. She did not hesitate to help in anyway that she could. Great customer experience!
