Shiva is an accomplished pianist and highly experienced piano teacher specializing in classical music and RCM exams. If you are a serious learner or would like to take exams or develop proper technique and musicianship skills on the piano, Shiva would be the right teacher helping you achieve that! She doesn't waste your time like other schools would. She genuinely cares about her students' progress and would like to help them meet their full potential.

Shiva has been my piano teacher for almost four years; since the sixth grade. Before we came across Shiva, I had started with another teacher for about two years. Not only did I not make any progress, I lacked inspiration. Therefore, I decided to switch to another teacher. With Shiva, I have improved a tremendous amount: seven RCM levels in under four years. Before her, I would never have thought to be so motivated and inspired. I have further discovered my interest in playing classical music on the piano because of Shiva’s passion for teaching. She truly cares and puts her heart and soul into instructing and helping students. Also, Shiva is careful to understand her students, how they learn, and what pieces work best with their personality and skills. Her determined, caring, and sedulous character constantly pushes me to do the best I can. I have honestly seen great progress with Shiva, and highly recommend her to anyone looking to progress in their piano journey.

Shiva has proven to be a truly passionate teacher. My daughter has advanced to RCM 7 in just under 4 years and has had incredible guidance and assistance throughout the entire process. Shiva’s lifelong experience and knowledge really shows through her work and it passes on to her students. She has high expectations while still applying the exact amount of pressure needed without being overwhelming. She has been able to see where my daughter has the potential to excel and has truly inspired her to pursue piano in a dedicated way.

Shiva is a very passionate and experienced piano instructor. She was my son's first and only piano teacher who took my son under her wings as a beginner and helped him grow into an advanced and accomplished piano player that he is today, thanks to Shiva! Because of Shiva's dedication and genuine efforts, my son continued to achieve very high marks on his RCM exams, always over 80% even for his senior level exams. He also participated in local festivals a few times and not even once did he come home empty-handed as he always won prizes, was placed within the top three performers in his class, and obtained very high marks. I feel very grateful to have had Shiva as my son's first and only piano instructor because at the end Shiva was proven to be the best piano teacher that we could have found for our son.
