Taurus Renovations

I have worked with Taurus Renovations on a few projects and they always deliver excellent results. They are professional, efficient and friendly, and take pride in their work. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of a contractor.

Our strata has used Taurus for two big projects. This company has very high standards for quality of work. The principals are very good to work with. They listened to our concerns, patiently answered questions, dealt with change orders. Importantly, for a bunch of lay people trying to understand the intricacies of construction and renovation, the owner patiently explained everything we needed to know. As strata council members will agree, in trying to budget for a large project and gain approval for large outlays of cash by owners, details matter. We asked Taurus to provide us with detailed breakdown of 'worst case' and 'best case'. Example: a staircase: "if you need to completely rebuild this staircase, how much will it cost. If not, how much will this cost to just replace the underlay and carpet?" Taurus was very professional and helpful in this regard. Small deficiencies were dealt with promptly. The worksite was cleaned up at the end of every day. The skilled tradespeople were unfailingly polite and respectful, and the owners remain very satisfied with the projects. I recommend this company.

Simply put, Taurus are the best contractors around. I can’t get over how phenomenal they were nor recommend them enough. I had awful experiences with other contractors (one bailed a day before the job, the other ghosted) for a living room renovation. A friend recommended I reach out to Filip and Alex at Taurus and it was night and day. Not only did they do an awesome job, Filip, Alex and Rob were incredibly personable and kind guys. Right from initial contact, Filip was super responsive and organized, and just went above and beyond every step of the way. He also is incredibly talented and kept working right up to a baby on the way! Alex finished the job with Rob and I’m very grateful. Alex is also one of the funniest people you’ll ever meet. Oh, and they also billed me exactly as quoted in the estimate phase; doesn’t get any better than that. Next up, kitchen renovation this year, hey guys? Seriously, the best group in town, family run, and great at what they do. Thanks again, Taurus team.
