My wife and I ordered Cod & Chips, $19.99 each.
Cod: each plate had two small pieces, tempura battered. At that price I would have expected a third piece due to the small size.
Chips: they're okay, good cut with skin on, possibly hand cut, but aren't properly double fried in a good oil. Salted appropriately. I believe it's supposed to be bottomless, but they weren't worth asking for more for us.
Service: we asked for our fries without salt, this was completely forgotten despite it being clearly acknowledged when ordering. When food was delivered, we needed to remind the server there was no cutlery or condiments. One check-in recieved 3/4 of the way through eating, just asked how things were tasting, didn't refill water.
Overall: food was okay, certainly not worth the money we paid for it. As this is very local we may return to try their burgers when we're walking in the neighborhood, but we're certainly not in any rush to return.
Made reservations no problem.
Had limited menu for Friday night but requested the lunch menu and were able to order off of that. Much more to choose from
Service was prompt and super nice.
Our table had tacos, that were delicious, 2 from our party had cod & chips, also delicious. Endless fries. I had the seafood chowder. Was a cream chowder and was excellent. Large bowl with bread. Loved it. Along with the chowder I shared a kale Caesar. Not really a kale lover but this was delicious. In addition my pop was endless also. The rest of the party had beers & wine.
It is pay parking there but if you ask the server you can get a pass on your vehicle.
Thank you to our waiter from Ottawa he made our visit very enjoyable.
We will definitely go back.
Really good food, portions are perfect for breakfast. Looking forward to trying their mussels and seafood platter available on Fridays and Saturdays 4-8pm. They did a amazing job with the renovations, its so welcoming, with really fun and friendly staff. This place is a hidden gem.
5 star service
The food quality is good. Their diner menu is limited with pretty much only seafood items. Hopefully it is just their soft opening menu. Beer selection is very limited with only 2 draft choices. Red truck lager and IPA. Both fairly good beer options. It would be nice to see some local, Port Moody craft beer options. A selection of appies would be nice too. The service was great! Hope they can survive.
First time I’ve ever eaten so much seafood & been so satisfied. And that’s says a lot, because I’m from an island!
My table enjoyed the fish tacos, fried trout, fried cod, salad, fries, burgers, and most importantly - SEAFOOD BOIL!!
Equal indoor & covered patio seating with a view of the marina & mountains to the north. Everything cooked perfectly & each dish with mini salad or something to lighten it. Isolated from road noise. Plenty of parking. Cheerful and experienced staff. 👍👍👍
