Murasaki Japanese Restaurant

My favorite sushi spot. I find their prices are better than local competitors, yet they have similar high quality in their food. Their service is usually faster than other sushi restaurants I've been to, and I've found the staff to be very friendly and inviting as well. Interior ambience is also really nice. It's close quarters with several booths and some tables near the middle, all of which are quite private. Even the music they play is great, usually jazz and other oldies which makes perfect dinner music.

It's my new favorite local sushi place in Port Moody! Great food and service.

Great authentic hidden gem. Fish was fresh and cooked food was great as well. Chef treated us with a complimentary dish on the house which was flavourful as well!

Been coming to this Japanese restaurant for quite some time now - mostly with the family. It’s a very nice and cozy restaurant where you’ll be able to enjoy a nice 45 minute to an hour dinner. The service hasn’t been the most consistent; however, I’d say it’s overwhelmingly positive.

This time I ordered the BC Roll, Dynamite Roll, and some Tempura Prawns. Everything was very well presented and tasted delicious!
