This is our second child attending Crystal star daycare and the experience has been excellent. Gina is a excellent caregiver and our children loved going there and our baby currently enjoys the daycare very much ! Gina provides constant communication and updates with heart melting pics on what’s app and daily information in the journal of detailed daily activities.
We feel so lucky to have had a long relationship with Crystal star daycare and feel at ease sending our baby there where he loves to crawl around and play outside and inside and always is smiling and happy when we pick him up.Thanks so much Gina ! I would highly recommend Crystal Star Daycare to anyone looking for a safe and caring environment with stimulating daily activities . Thanks again Crystal star !
Our son was just under 1 years old when he started visiting Crystal Star Daycare. Gina walked us through gradual entry and provided us with updates everyday both through photos as well as a very detailed daily journal. Gina provides many activities and also enables the kids to go outside even in the winter as long as the weather is good. The stories, songs and activities shine through as our son continues to learn everyday. We strongly recommend Gina and Crystal Star Daycare.
One of the best Early Childhood Educators I have ever met. When my 11 month old son first started in the daycare program he experienced some separation anxiety when I would drop him off in the morning, but Gina was always there to ease the transition with a big hug and a fun activity to engage my child. As a school teacher it was important for me to find a quality licensed daycare where children are in a safe environment, nurtured and valued for their unique qualities, exposed daily to developmentally appropriate activities both indoor and outdoor, and guided by a positive disciplinary approach. My experience with Gina was wonderful. My son was at Gina’s for over a year, and then our 1 year old daughter for a few months till we changed daycares. We only moved daycares because it was time for our 3 year old to enter a preschool-aged daycare.
Gina would communicate and send a pictures on the daily using WhatsApp. She would also do a daily hand-written journal entry for each babe on what they did that day, how much they ate, what they played, what books they read, songs they sang, times of diaper changes/potty, the length of their nap as well as any additional notes needed for them. Gina also did a monthly theme in which she focused her art, songs and books around. She has a huge backyard with many toys that our babes enjoyed on the regular and she made sure they had lots of playtime outdoors.
I always felt comfortable leaving both my babes there. They were always kept warm, fed and entertained.
Overall, Gina was super accommodating and understanding when it came to caring about my babes!
We were very fortunate to have both our kids with Gina over the years. She came highly recommended by friends who also had a great experience with their kids in her care. We really appreciated her transparency and communication by email and in the kids daily journals. Gina clearly has years of experience as an early childhood educator. She was always very helpful and attentive to our kids needs and reassuring to us (especially as new parents). We appreciated the play based structure to the daycare, the huge yard for outdoor time, the friendships our kids made and the comfort of knowing that they were always safe. Gina always had good instincts and never hesitated to let us know if she felt the kids needed something.
