Sandman Signature Vancouver Airport Hotel & Resort

Handy location for airport stopovers. Shuttle bus is regularly available - though check well the signs as there are multiple buses that stop at the same arrivals area and most buses are shared between a group of hotels. Thankfully we got easily on the right one. The hotel room was not impressive as the pictures, but this was redeemed by it having a hot water machine for tea and coffee, plus fine service.. Plus there's a small pool and even a slide - it is energy-saving, so you push a knob to make the water flow when you'll use it. Within a couple minutes walk is Denny's which has yummy food, with all the classic breakfast dishes.

Friendly staff. Spacious layout. Close to restaurants and other amenities. Nice pool and waterslide.

I enjoyed my stay here in the pandemic era. I requested a quiet room and the room was fairly quiet though I could hear someone stomping around at 1 am. I’ve had much worse experiences at this hotel though.

The wifi in the room was of the best quality I have seen in a hotel room. Extremely fast with a network extender in the room.

The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, very soft and great for one night. It helped me to just relax and fall asleep quickly after a busy day. It was unfortunate I was woken up but I fell back asleep after.

The hotel was in the midst of being a movie set and so there were some aliens hanging around the hallways waiting to go on set. The indoor pool area was open but signs say under renovation and so will hopefully be in better condition by the time they are finished. Nothing was bad, we've both lived through renos before, and so we were pretty tolerant of the fact that we didn't want to walk around the pool area without shoes on!

Enjoyable hotel with many amenities and close to a couple restaurants. Nice pool, hot tub and water slide. Free YVR shuttle was excellent. I enjoyed the stay and nice size rooms with king size bed and good work areas. Toiletries still available as aren't in many places now. Clean and a large complex. Unfortunately need a car for any shopping.
