My father received some devastating news that he had less than three months to live and so my mother arranged to have a very special family portrait to commemorate our family. Don was incredibly patient,, organized, professional and I still do not know how he was able to manage getting 14 people, including toddlers and a few reluctant teenagers all together into one photograph. The result is the most beautiful family photograph any one of us has ever seen. Don used his decades of expertise to, for ex., add a smile here, coloured white shoes into gray ones to "fit" the rest of the colours in the portrait, he even went "added" a watch and ring on my father's image. If that's not enough, Don even went over to my parents' home and hung the portrait for them! My father then spent an hour sitting quietly, looking at Don's creation. Nothing was more important to anyone of us than to see my father's eyes, shining with pride when he looked at his family portrait. This is all due to Don!!
