Steveston Built Local Taphouse & Grill

The first 2 or 3 times I went to this place I wasnt too sure about it.

The last couple of times I have been there the service was good and food excellent. I would highly recommend the chicken wings and they finally have good BEEF DIP!

Enjoy the range of craft beers here. The brunch is great and the atmosphere is pretty decent for some of the NFL had a few good pints watching the playoffs in there - and I hear they were packed for the Superbowl. The service is pretty decent and I think they're getting a patio soon so even better for a Sunday Pint in Steveston. Def. recommend a visit or two.

Nice environment and very friendly servers. Food was generally good and enjoyable. Not 5 start because I could tell the chili was microwaved, which I don't mind, but was not evenly heated up.

Service was slower than I would have preferred given that it wasn't particularly busy. Once we ordered the food came out fairly quickly. My steak was cooked a bit more on the rare side than what I ordered but was acceptable. My fries came out ice cold, which when pointed out were quickly replaced with fresh ones. My dining partners beef dip had cold cheddar on it, would be nice if they tried to melt it a bit before hand. Overall the food and service were just ok. The beer selection was decent but easily beaten by other establishments in the area. I'll give this place another try in 6 months to a year before deciding not to return again.

This is one of new favorite spots now. Finally found a place where you can relax, have a beer, and have a conversation without having music blasting so loud in your ears. The music is just perfect.
Though we waited a bit too long for food, it was very delicious. The prices are fair and portions are big. We all enjoyed our meals. I'd never admit this again, but I had a bite of their Beyond Veggie Burger and it tasted better than my beef Burger...
