Susanne, sorry this review took so long to write,

On my first day travelling to my new military assignment in Ottawa from Victoria, BC, one of my radiator hoses on my Outback split open, mere meters from the Cloverdale Auto Repair Center. To say I was a bit stressed is putting it mildly. They took my car in close to their closing time and immediately called a few places to find the hose to fit my vehicle but unfortunately could not find one. They said it would have to wait until the next day. Fully understanding my predicament, a young mechanic (sorry, don’t remember his name) who had a Subaru Forester, took the radiator hose from his own vehicle and tried to install it on mine. Unfortunately, it did not fit quite right so he had to remove it from my car and re-install it on his. Still, they did not stop there. Even though they were technically closed, someone from that shop (again, forgot the name) went to an auto parts place to find a radiator hose that looked similar to what I needed, cut it to the proper length and installed it on my vehicle. After a few customary checks for leaks and other potential issues I was on my way. The hose is still on the car today and I haven’t had any issues with the car since they fixed it.

On Google Maps, I have read the many one and two star reviews this repair center received and can’t understand any of them. Folks say they were taken advantage of; I was stranded, they worked overtime, they took parts off their own vehicle trying to fix mine, went out of their way to find a suitable part and yet, my bill was $261. I fully expected a much higher bill. Basically, they charged me for 2 hours labour and some parts. They did not take advantage of me even though they could easily have. These folks are real professionals and I can’t say enough about how well they treated me. I wholeheartedly recommend them. If I were still in the area, they would be my first choice if I needed car repairs. Go see them, you won’t regret it.

Honest, reliable, and consistent quality service!

Long story short — my wife’s car was recently sent to the dealership to fix a footwell module recall. Unfortunately this recall ended up damaging other things in the car, which the dealer did not specify to us until “another diagnostics $$$” was done.. Cloverdale auto repair to the rescue it is! In just a day, they were able to honestly inform us what had happened and repair it right away, and at a very reasonable cost.

In all our experiences here, Susanne and the rest of the team have always gone above and beyond. You can always tell that they don’t just care for your car, but their priority is caring for your safety on the road. Highly recommend and trust Cloverdale Auto Repair!

Been coming here for 6 months now after years of going to various shops and Cloverdale Auto has always delivered great customer service and quality work. These are definitely people you can trust and count on to get any job done. I had recently had an oil change done at Mr Lube (never again) and they suggested many things wrong with fluids. Cloverdale Auto checked over those suggestions and said that nothing was wrong and gave honest knowledge as to how everything was and when to expect a service.

Steven and his crew are the most kind hearted people ever. Steven really took the time to explain everything that was wrong and why it was that way. He really went above and beyond, even got one of the mechanics to drive my sister and I home and pick us up after our vehicle was complete. It was a very pleasurable experience and will be coming back for sure. If I could give100 stars I would.
