Collective Colors Painting

I got collective colors to remove texture from a bathroom ceiling and re-flatten a second bathroom. Very pleased with the job done. Was done in a very timely matter. And the employee did a great job of cleaning all areas worked in and even the area he had to walk through to get to the bathroom. They even offered to hose off the driveway where there was some drywall powder/dust.
I ended up priming & painting the ceilings myself as I found the quote $800 for both ceilings much. Considering the paint and primer was $100 and took me 5hrs in total to paint.
Overall was impressed with quality of job, timely completion and the cleaning done.

The end result of the exterior of our home looks incredible. Price was fair. Delays due to weather outside of Amber's control, and when it did finally clear up she was very prompt.

I never did meet Amber as the quote was provided by email after i sent pictures of the home. This did result in some items being missed from the original quote and additional charges if i wanted them done. No big deal, but an in person quote would have avoided this.

She sub-contracted the job out, which was fine but I wasn't expecting. Thankfully the sub contractor brought to my attention that the house colour on my vinyl shop would have resulted in the siding warping in the heat, which Amber did not seem to be aware of. I confirmed this with two Sherwin Williams paint reps and ended up finding a similar vinyl safe colour/paint product myself.

I likely wouldn't book a job through Amber again, though everything worked out in the end; the house looks great and I paid a fair price.

We have used Amber to paint a few times. She is a very reliable, professional painter. She works quicky with great attention to detail. We were always very happy with the painting she did for us.

Amber did an incredible job with our 1200 sq ft apartment. We did a major palette change and we’re very nervous. Amber coached us the whole way. She helped us design an apartment that had flow and beauty. I really appreciated her work and patience. I was not an easy client. I changed my mind on the dark blue colour THREE TIMES. She had our whole apartment completed in three days, even with my ever changing mind.

Amber did an amazing job on painting our bathroom vanities and our stair railing. She very professional and friendly. We look forward to having her back to do some more painting. I highly recommend her.
