Great Canadian Van Lines and their associates moved my furniture and other household contents from Ontario to BC in Aug 2020. I was extremely pleased with the service they provided. They were very responsive and professional with regard to my questions and concerns, and readily offered a $300 discount when the delivery was delayed by a week. All my items arrived in excellent condition and were well packed and protected. Price-wise, I obtained 4 quotes and theirs was the most competitive and offered the best insurance coverage as well. I highly recommend GCVL.

This was the best choice I could have ever made for my move from Vancouver to Toronto Kathy Dorland was very responsive with my booking needs and answered all my questions very promptly. The driver Sean and his coworker were the most amazing movers, they were an amazing team. The communication was excellent, and that made me feel reassured about everything. He came prepared with tons of blankets and took great care to wrap all our furniture properly. They were fast and efficient, and I felt at ease that our stuff would be well taken care of.

Before moving I thoroughly researched all the moving options at my disposal. Great Canadian Van Lines were the most reliable during my initial contact with them, and were very flexible towards my need to interact by email. The price was very reasonable and the difference between the estimate and the final cost was not much, as I had many heavy small boxes of books. The driver and movers were all professional and completed both the load up and load off very quickly. I highly recommend this company, as the pandemic started partway through this process and they made a stressful move as smooth as possible.

We had a great experience with Great Canadian Van Lines. It was our first time using a professional moving company, and we were moving from Ottawa to Calgary, so we had many questions about the process and Sara and the team answered all of them thoroughly. Ken and Dave handled our furniture with care and nothing was broken or scratched! Given the elevator in our new building needed to be booked in advance, they were very accommodating, giving us an approximate window for us to book the elevator for, then making sure to arrive at the small window. Also, after we noticed a small scratch on our wood floors, Great Canadian Van Lines was quick to reimburse us for the cost of the repair. We highly recommend this company - great service!

Great customer service in coordinating my move from QC to SK. The consultant Sarah was helpful and super responsive to my many questions and concerns. The estimate she provided was much closer to the actual weight and cost than the ones I got from other companies (which is key, you don’t want to end up with a surprise extra $1000 when the truck gets weighed). Movers did a fine job, everything arrived intact, undamaged and on time. Overall a very good experience and good company- they stand out in an industry that can be sketchy and/or super expensive.
