March 2022 Chris tackled my original 1926 single pane front windows that had been painted shut. A common practice to reduce draft but it made the front room stuffy and I wanted cross ventilation on the main floor. Chris toiled for three days, an exacting craftsman, he carefully took the three windows apart, sanded them and the frames, made repairs, replaced the weight ropes and then put them all back together. They look great!! Really thrilled with the results. its wonderful to open up the windows, looking forward to the cross draft this summer. And I haven't found the windows any more drafty this last week of bitter cold wet weather. It is very difficult to find a craftsman in Vancouver to do this work. How lucky was I find a meticulous craftsman who did great work at a reasonable price. I have recommended him to friends and wont hesitate to recommend him going forward.
After contacting a few other window companies to fix the wooden sash windows on my house, I was recommended to Chris. Instead of the $2,500 it would cost to build new windows, he was able to fix my existing ones for way less than half the price. Chris was very friendly, knowledgable and easy to work with. Despite it being his busiest season, he was able to squeeze my project in and get the windows back to me in 2 weeks. Highly recommended!
After a stone broke a window ,Chris was recommended by the company that installed the windows of our two year old Heritage 3 townhouse. He came promptly to horde up the ground floor opening and ordered the replacement the same day . The replacement was manufactured by the original manufacturer, with the same tinting and he touched up the outside paint with the same paint match . Chris is meticulous, conscientious, and reliable. And his pricing seemed very reasonable .He takes the time to do a really thorough job, and takes pride in his work We were extremely satisfied with his work , and would recommend him without hesitation .
Chris replaced the sealed units in our living room wood-frame windows and did some related maintenance. He is a true craftsman, very knowledgable and meticulous in his work, concerned to do the best job possible. As well he is personable and easy to communicate with. We will use his services again. Highly recommended.
Our 4 unit strata is a converted 1907 home. We had several east facing windows that required replacement. We interviewed several window suppliers but their approach was solely sales driven; Questions about maintaining the historic appearance of our home and remediating any damage/rot uncovered with the removal of the windows were never fully addressed.
Chris came recommended to us by a custom wood window manufacturer. Chris inspected the whole home and then identified the windows that needed replacement and those that required maintenance. He provided experienced consultation and a relationship focused approach. As each window was removed, Chris either inspected the window opening with us or provided pictures. Those that required remediation were done so professionally and completely. He pointed out areas of our home that he felt needed addressed, providing maintenance that avoided costly repairs down the road. Chris earned our complete confidence. He always showed up on time, always left the job sight immaculate, did what he said he would do and usually more and always did it perfectly ( if it isn't perfect, Chris isn't happy). His work ethic and customer focus are outstanding.
We can not recommend Chris highly enough.
