Li'l Munchkin Preschool

We learned about Li'l Munchkin Preschool from our neighbours since we were new in the area and I was looking for a Preschool to enroll our son into. We enrolled our son this past year and due to Covid-19, his time was cut short with Shelley. However, during the time span he spent at the Preschool, I've noticed some positive changes from him. He learned to write his name, familiarize letters and numbers and his social skills has developed drastically. He has an older sibling and was only used to being around her so knowing he gets along with his peers makes me feel at ease that he will do great in kindergarten. Until now, he carries the values Shelley has taught and has learned to be more polite and learn when to share (take turns) which what I was worried about with him in the beginning. Shelley is great at making the kids feel comfortable and makes sure that they get the undivided attention they need. I highly recommend Shelley for her professionalism, kind, patient and welcoming attitude. She is wonderful at what she does!

You know you’ve had the best preschool experience for your daughter when both you and the teacher are crying on the last day because it’s over. Shelley is the first and only person out of my three immediate family members that I’ve ever trusted to care for my daughter. She’s attentive and caring but firm enough to mould these little beings into truly better people.

Almost every day, my daughter’s favourite thing to do at home was to play ‘school’ and one of us was always Shelley. My daughter learned so much at Li’l Munchkin Preschool and I feel so much more confident sending her off to kindergarten. She provides her students with such a wonderful foundation to build on. The one-on-one work with the students and giving them a platform to learn to speak confidently in front of their peers is invaluable.

I am forever grateful for the positive first school experience Shelley provided for our family. I would without a doubt recommend Shelley and Li’l Munchkin Preschool to anyone.

We have just enrolled my son into Shelley's preschool and from my interaction with her the last few days, she is such a positive person , very kind and has made his transition to preschool so easy for all of us. He has learnt so much in the past few days and has become so much independent. We are very lucky and blessed to have Shelley as his first teacher.

I have known Shelley for 11 years. My kids attended the preschool and have continued with tutoring. Shelley is very caring and extremely skilled at teaching. I would highly recommend Shelley to anyone seeking to enroll their child for preschool or tutoring.

Shelley was fantastic with our little guy over the two years he was with her. He always came home excited to show us his work and tell us about the activities of the day. Shelley’s classroom space is really cool, and even has an indoor slide, which is a hit with the kids! The one on one time was so valuable for building both skills and confidence. Our child blossomed during his time at L’il Munchkin and I would recommend Shelley to anyone!
