My daughter and I visited the USRS recently and had a pleasant time. My daughter and her friends all between the ages of 6 to 7, learned a lot about the rescue animals and how important the society is. We adults were blew away by the dedication of the staff and their kindness toward the exotic animals. While the venue is small, it is well organized and educational, providing an engaging experience for the children and me. We ended up sponsoring a few of the animals and hope the rescue society all the best in their efforts to provide these beautiful creatures and a safe, second home.
Way more diversity in species then I expected!!! All animals looked well taken care of and a very good educational option for young kids. Sign up and volunteer to get to know a lot of the critters 😀
Larger space than I expected it to be. The workers are super kind, and the animals are amazing. Keep in mind that this isn’t a petting zoo but a place to admire exotic animals safely.
Fantastic staff, really cool animals, entry fee reasonable and goes to a great cause. Awesome for kids and adults.
My kids enjoyed the visit. My daughter is in a 'loves reptiles' phase so it was really enjoyable for her. And a worthy charitable cause. Thanks!!
