I had the good fortune to work with Jeanette during her time in Toronto. While being highly skilled and educated in vocal pedagogy, she also has a wicked sense of humour and a big heart. She delights in a student's success and has empathy for their challenges. I hope that BC musicians enjoy working with her as much as I did.

I had such an incredible experience working with and learning from Jeanette. Her approach to singing is way beyond singing 'techniques', and her style of teaching is more coaching than simply instructing. She sees the whole body as the singer's instrument and tunes her coaching accordingly, based on the students's needs - that what she did with me. I learned so much about my own voice and how little effort I need to exert. Getting out of my own way, essentially. I wish she was still in Toronto!
