I bought two vegetarian steamed buns here for $3.60 and paid with cash. They had cabbage and noodles in them. The service staff was nice.
Always my go to place for vegetarian buns. Lately they have sticky rice as well which is amazing ! Their tofu dishes are also incredible.
I bought 8 buns from them, finished it in two days, coming back for more.
The deli is amazing. Their radish cake is the best I've ever had in my lifetime. Spiced to perfection, it replaces the traditional minced pork with smoked tofu, which is less oily but still flavorful.
I'm impressed by how the store is arranged. You can see them making fresh food right behind the shopping area.
I would like to come every week if I lived nearby.
This is the best vegetarian bakery I've ever seen. They do have some baked goods that are sweet, such as buns with red bean paste or black sesame paste, or taro inside. But most of the food is about vegetarian food that is a great meal for those who don't have time or don't want to cook. This food is very tasty. Their most popular item is a type of rice noodles with vegetables and a little bit of fake meat. Delicious, but usually only available from just before noon until mid afternoon on weekdays. The owners are from Taiwan, so have limited English, but certainly enough to get by. Highly recommend this place. I've been going there for year. Don't know why I didn't think to give them a review until now. They're very nice, happy, gentle people. SOME OF THEIR FOOD DOES HAVE MEAT, so if you are a strict vegetarian you have point at something you're interested in and say "Meat, or no meat". Or you can just point at something and ask what's in it. They will tell you. Then you can ask if it has meat. Whatever it is, it will be tasty.
