Fred is the best contractor that we’ve used for our rental properties. He is efficient, honest, multi talented, and does a fantastic job! We won’t use anybody else. Highly recommended.

Excellent work! Provided me with all the information I asked for before hand, super efficient and professional on day of at removing cabinets, etc. and installing a dishwasher, and filled me in on all the info I needed to know for future, which was much appreciated. Was also super helpful and fixed a couple other things at the house. All for a reasonable rate. I highly recommend and will have him back if any future work is needed!

Excellent work; willingly took on a grungy job and did a great job in shoring up the porch as well as replacing deck stairs, a gate, and part of a fence. Went out of his way to blend in the ancient stucco with the repair work. Innovative in determining the best route to take to fix everything. Would highly recommend Fred and will utilize him for any future work.

Fred returned to repair windows and soffits (doing an excellent job) and was here after a locksmith had attempted to repair the old but sturdy door hardware. After the locksmith left, the doorknob fell off in 3 days (2 of which we weren't here). Fred repaired it in 45 minutes and it's as good as new.

Fred is amazing!! He is so knowledgeable!! He was fantastic to work with!! This guy grew up with a hammer as a rattle as his Dad was a hands on house builder so Fred has done that and got the T-shirt.

His vast knowledge of construction methods is outstanding and second nature to him which keeps a project on time and on budget. He is just so creative and works with a home owner to create a vision and then he builds the vision. He is an outside the box thinker.

Fred helped me to completely gut my house. He supervised the walls going back up and then ran with the project from there. He did all the painting, baseboards, trim, hung the pictures, put together the closets, renovated my bathroom, etc. He is so well rounded!

In addition, Fred is a genuinely nice guy! He is a pleasure to be around, conscientious, honest and has a ton of integrity. For anyone planning to use Fred for their construction project I would highly recommend him.

Hired Fred to come install interior doors, install trim and mouldings. He did an excellent job in a timely manner for a reasonable price. I would highly recommend hiring GVA contracting again for any carpentry work!
