(January 9, 2019, 6:59 pm)Meh. They are often slow when it comes to figuring out something unfamiliar. For example: Twice I asked for a fairly common transaction. Both times the tellers got flummoxed and had to ask for backup. What would have taken 10 minutes took half an hour.
The staff seem parochial. Nice but unsophisticated. Nice doesn't cut it. The only reason I'm using them is because TD upped the amount one had to have in one's account in order to get an unlimited number of transactions.
If you like small town touches and not the corporate boom, this is the place for you.
UPDATE: I've gone back to TD.
(January 6, 2014, 12:53 am)To Vancity, I'm not just another number, I'm a member and am treated like such. Having a bank that isn't a huge - worldwide company but rather one that is very local makes all the difference. I highly recommend Vancity and Credit Unions over Banks.
