Finally made time to come here, snuck out while wife is at the women's hospital. Ordered a bunch of stuff but came especially for the cheese/ham filled waffle.
Did a take out, only to be disappointed while biting through the waffle to get to the cheese and ham, it was all filled with apple/custard. All of them!
Everything else was as expected tho. Very good!
They are not open on weekends, I don't know when I'll ever have time to go back. I guess I'll just have another kid.
AMAZING!!!!! For a moment, after closing my eyes and taking a bite of a croissant, I felt like I was in France again! This bakery is a hidden gem, the pastries and cookies as well as the waffles are all delicious. I will go back to try the sandwiches and baguettes too. Well worth our drive from North Delta.
Very nice staff. You need to try everything there, fantastic is one word I would use for your experience here.
The first time that we found Patisserie Lebeau was all the way back in 2011 (back when we first started this food blog). We actually came across this place by accident back then – but I still remember how impressed we were with the waffles here (this was the place that turned me onto liege waffles and their little pearls of sugar).
It’s been way too long since a revisit but we were stopping by a nearby bakery (The Cake & The Giraffe) and figured this would be a great time to pick up some lunch and treats… a tasty salami and provolone baguette, a savory ham & cheese-filled waffle, a fruit danish and chocolate fruit tart, as well as an orange & cranberry scone.
Can’t really go wrong with the baked items here but make sure you try out some of their waffles.
Patisserie Lebeau has been a long time favourite. I love exposing new people to Patisserie Lebeau and seeing their eyes light up when they see the showcase of treats. If you are ever looking for a good quality, great tasting option for a catered office lunch, they make yummy banquette sandwiches. My favourite is the grilled brie and chicken but they have many more options to choose from.
