I am so glad I took and completed the meditation course, hard to imagine it is free. I highly recommend this meditation course to anyone interested in meditation or anyone who wishes to improve themselves. The meditation instructors are great !, they really make theory and the meditation easy to understand.
I would highly recommend this meditation centre for who want to study the most simple and effective meditation practice. the course provides the most tradtional meditation practice dated back 2500 years ago. the centre is located in the temple, but all ages and different beliefs practitioners are warmly welcome. The main purpose of this course is providing meditators how to maintain a balance life with joy, health and peace through the course. All temple staffs and volunteer teachers are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend peole who are eager to learn drop by and try it out since it is a free couse.
Amazing meditation course on 'concentration meditation' (also known as tranquility or Samatha meditation); the course also include some theory on Vipassana.
The course is free (except for books, but books are optional to buy); and runs from Sept. to February.
Although the course is run in a Buddhist temple, the course is only about meditation (not Buddhism), and suitable for anyone of any religious background.
Highly, highly recommend this course, including beginners to advance meditators.
In addition, during the spring-summer months, the temple also offers 1-hour concentration meditation that anyone could drop-in (normally Monday through Friday, 7-8pm)
I think this course is great!
