Vancouver Toastmasters Club (#59)

Saying that this is a great club is an understatement. Toastmasters as an organization will celebrate one hundred years in 2024, and his is Toastmaster's 59th club in existence globally. It has a rich history and a great culture that has allowed it to thrive for so long. I am a big believer in learning by doing, and there is no better place in town to apply yourself and take your soft skills to the next level. I joined Club 59 in midst of the pandemic, in July 2020. It has been a life changing experience for me. Though I've not had any issue speaking in public or facing an audience, following the structured speeches and receiving constructive feedback has helped me polish my public speaking skills even more. Moreover, the warm and welcoming members of Club59 makes you feel right at home!!

Absolutely one of the best things ive done personally and professionally. So much fun, diverse membership and safe environment to learn in. Best club in Vancouver, like the sky is Blue!!

Game Changer! Love this club so much. I have been a member for over 8 years. Great diversity in the club. It has been the best place for me to develop my skills in public speaking and leadership.

I joined TM Club 59 in Sept 2020, and have no regrets ever since. Being new to Canada, I was able to meet new people, expand my network and MOST importantly become a better articulative public speaker and learn the nuances becoming an effective orator. Furthermore the pathway program offered by Toast Masters International curated me to become assertive speaker and look forward towards more learning and effective communication.

Great Vancouver Toastmasters club, the second oldest in Canada and one of the largest in Vancouver. People are super friendly and of many diverse backgrounds. I've met many friends here and have also become more confident in meetings and presentations.
