21st Century Flea Market

Always fun, and for $5, a nice Sunday of perusing. What you'd can get varies by when, but generally you can find good stuff if you really look.

Located inside the Croatian Cultural Centre 3250 Commercial Drive on the north west corner of Commercial Drive and Findlay Street. Good size parking lot, also street parking is available. NOTE: there are some parking restrictions for resident parking only. Enforced by City of Vancouver. Come early to park for free. A great way to spend the day checking our the flea market. There are some bargains and some are not.
Remember what you see is what you get. It is better if you can come early as it gets crowded I'm the afternoon.

It costs $5 to get into the flea market and there are quite a few large rooms packed with treasures. Of course I had my eyes on kitchen treasures which there was a plethora of but also tons of jewelry and lots of antiques. As you can see with that green bowl being $45, this was more of a vintage and antiques show than a flea market.

I must mention the crowds are a bit crazy. Several times I got stuck between two tables and tried not to panic. I am not good with crowds. I finally picked up my last nostalgic treasure and headed for home.It was the perfect day to get out into the long-forgotten Vancouver sunshine to do some treasure hunting.
