Noisy for a library and the guy that's always in plaid flannel at the front is rather unfriendly.

I love this library. It smells great for starters; but the big deal around this library is the staff. Always helpful, good recommendations from staff picks and patient. I know that it's a small place but if you saw what we had before... A living room size library...you know that this place is still cosy and friendly place. Yeah wheelchair access to washrooms, yes study rooms, yes reading to kids (preCo-vid) and yes, the have an origami club meeting! They have a Lego afternoon and some programming for kids. A reading club for kids...I dunno what else do you need ? Good chairs, tables, power to plug your laptop in and a great place to recharge those mental batteries. I love this library and VPL staff. If you don't like the selection from here you can order to deliver to this location. If you look up a recipe and are missing ingredients you can go next door to SaveOn! There's a bank, gym and Service Canada nearby,too something for everyone.okay there's Pallette across the street and a Dollar store. Oh there's two banks: one red beside the Dollar Store and green on across the lane. Make your library a weekly event, pay bills, pick up milk and get a balloon .. all in one area 😊

Great safety protocols during the Pandemic ( pick up only ) services in a booked appointment inside. Amazing library!
