Dr. Phoebe Chow - Lumicel Health Clinic

I have been battling with eczema ever since I was a baby. I had gone to many dermatologist but nothing really help. I am very thankful that I finally found Dr. Phoebe Chow. Dr. Chow is very knowledgeable and the most important thing is that she really cares!!! She is always so kind and understanding and will always listen to me when I told her what was going on. She will always prescribe treatment that would fix the problem from the inside out. Her treatments have made a massive difference to my health. I am really appreciate for Dr. Chow's time, dedication, expertise, and caring. Without Dr. Chow, my eczema will still be severely impacting the quality of my life. I am also very impressed that Dr. Chow always continue educating herself to new treatment and will always seek the more innovative technique to help her patients. Having eczema is certainly not fun but I don't believe that we have to live with it. There are answers out there for us. Knowing that Dr. Chow will always be there to support me, I feel blessed that I no longer have to worry when the next attack would occur. She will always fight the battles with me. Since 1995, I have been under the medical care of Dr. Phoebe Chow. She has been looking after me and my family all these years. One most significant incident happened in 2014 when my son was spared an unnecessary surgery after receiving a consultation from Dr. Chow. Despite all the scanning and lab tests that the doctor did in the emergency dept., they could not come up with a firm diagnosis, but in order not to take risk suggested my son to return to the hospital for surgery the following day if the abdominal pain still existed. It took Dr. Chow a short time during the visit the next day to diagnose him to have urinary tract infection. She prescribed my son some natural supplement for the infection, and then he was fine the next day.

I was introduced to Naturopathic care way back in the 80’s. I really like to use and or treated by the natural medicines and supplements for there is no side effects. Also, when needed I will use the supplements to enhance the immune system, for example during the flu season.

I started seeing Dr. Chow and the rest of the team (Dr. Lui and Dr. Cielanga about 15 years ago after being diagnosed with breast cancer. As I believe that with proper support the body can heal, I refused conventional treatment other than a lumpectomy. When I think back to how I felt in those days, I'm surprised that I didn't realize how sick I was, in contrast to how I feel these days. I continue to go every 3 weeks for IV treatments, and take the recommended supplements. But it is not only the treatments themselves but also the relationships that are beneficial and healing. I have recommended Dr. Chow, Dr. Lui and Dr. Cielanga to others, and have no hesitation continuing to do so.

I was told by numerous doctors that my hormones will normalize with age and was later placed on birth control, in an attempt to help regulate my hormones. I experienced extreme fatigue, chronic infections like UTI's, mood swings, low energy/motivation, extreme cramping, irregular mensies, and extreme breast tenderness.
