This is a smaller Return It store but the staff are super friendly, polite and accurate. And yes, it's smells of beer cans. Before you visit, bring a pair of disposable rubber gloves and face mask
As far as recycling depots go, this one seems clean and better organized. Also they have a hand washing station with a Dyson dryer too! I've also started collecting the plastic packaging and plastic bags to recycle depots to properly dispose of rather than them ending up in landfills or the ocean. Let's all do our part!
First time there. Nice staff walked me through the process. Was not crowded. They have a sink with soap and water and air dryer to wash up when you are done. Make sure your recycling is not dirty. They don't like that.
New Post Dec 2020: I wanted to revise my review from one star a year ago to five stars now. This morning I dropped off 4 bags of returns, some styrofoam and plastic bags for recycling. The staff member, a man with light brown hair and a hat was outstanding. He was friendly, helpful and kind. I miss kindness! Through this pandemic I haven't been greeted or met with kindness when out in public. It was so surprising! He made my day. People are on edge and anxious so I get it, no one is friendly. But today to be met by a friendly person at a place I dread going to was so positive. Keep up the great work!
Original Post Dec 2019: W 75th Ave Vancouver location is super busy so I’ve been shorted when I drop off Express recycling. At least three times they shorted me one bag. Then today the drop off was over flowing and I tried to put my bag on top. The woman there yelled at me that it wasn’t going to fit. All she had to do was direct me where to put it or put a sign up so customers know. No need to yell at me. So I left without saying anything, she followed me yelling she wasn’t going to count my bag!?! Why? What did I do wrong? Put my bag in the wrong place? No I didn’t. It was overflowing so it’s their fault. So rude! This happened May 22, 2019 at 9am. She was the only one working so management should be able to figure out who she is.
I have been going this Return-It from the beginning when this place was first opened and there were very few customers. I have found the service always very polite, efficient and courteous. This holds true, whether I was served, by the owners, the first manager, Josh, then Della and now Larry and Gogun. I have always found that they go out of their way to assist me and other customers. Even when dealing with some very trying customers, the staff was always respectful. i have a lot of respect for the staff who works here. I would recommend the service of this RETURN-IT to others.
