I took the CORE and PAL, both were excellent and well executed
Eat Wild ran a great firearms safety course. Booking and communication was straightforward and clear. The instructor Rob Wilson was great and very knowledgeable. The company emphasizes inclusivity and community, as well as training people to not only be safe gun owners and users, but responsible and conscientious hunters. Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience with their firearms course.
Attended EatWild's PAL course and it was super valuable to receive the practical training from an experienced hunter. Definitely recommend booking with these guys; they know their stuff!
I had an excellent experience both with the CORE and PAL courses with the Eatwild staff. I am an inexperienced hunter and I feel that these courses are a perfect way to start in gaining knowledge about hunting and gun safety.
I really enjoyed Chuck's great teaching style for the PAL course and the several other awesome teachers for the CORE course(3 days)
Thank you so much!!
I recently completed my CORE certification with EatWild, and then attended the EatWild Hunter Field Skills Weekend up at Singing Lands Ranch. The CORE course was informative and the instructors were patient, while also sharing lots of great hunting stories. They also instilled a strong message of conservation and respect for the environment, and an ethical approach to hunting.
The Field Skills Workshop was awesome. Jam packed with activities and learning, in an absolutely breathtaking environment (Singing Lands Ranch - google it!). The leadership and guidance provided by Dylan, Rob, and Celina was friendly and informal, and the group of people attending were friends by the end of the weekend after sharing great meals together, and stories around the bonfire. It was an unforgettable experience. If you have any interest at all in hunting, or just being a safer outdoorsman, you'll get a lot out of the weekend.
