Fraser River Forge - German Canadian Blacksmithing School

Taking the course at Fraser River Forge was an amazing experience. I highly recommend for anyone interested in blacksmithing to learn here . The teaching accepts of both instructors is right on point and you learn in the correct way things should be done . I will be taking other classes in the future.

Fraser River Forge did a beautiful set of custom pieces for me from an old piece of equipment. Joshua was lovely to deal with, created exactly what I had envisioned, and also dropped them off to my home as soon as they were finished. The pieces were given as a gift and were very well received.

Great Experience!
Josh and Ray are patient, knowledgable and experienced instructors.
They teach how to do things properly rather than 'good enough'.
If you want to learn this unique trade, even just as a hobby or if you want to try something new, this is the the place to do it.

I really, really enjoyed attending the intro to blacksmithing course here. I went in March 2022. The two teachers were helpful and did a great job balancing different skill sets and desires. It was a great learning experience, a very full day, and I was very happy with the whole experience. 10/10 and I'm planning to do it again

It was a true joy to learn here at this forge. All of the people there we very kind and helpful. They taught at a very good pace and always helped you on what you were doing. Despite going in with no experience or knowledge about Blacksmithing I never once felt over my head and came out feeling like I’ve learned a fair bit. It definitely feels like the true experience of Blacksmithing.
