The Big Playhouse

Great teachers, management and daycare. They were going above and beyond to accommodate our needs and requests when we started going to daycare. That was an anxious period for us as 1st time parents as our son was only 11 months old.

Lots of activities and art time.They are doing amazing job: from daily photo-reports to monthly newsletter.

Our son is happy there, and that's the most important thing for us as parents.

We highly recommend this daycare! Our son started in the infant class and moved up to the toddler class and the teachers have been incredible throughout. The owner/manager is always looking to improve the facilities and re-invest in the daycare. It’s evident that it’s more than a business for him. The teachers are sincerely my heroes for the love and attention they provide to our biggest treasure for all those hours us parents can’t be there. They have lots of fun play-based activities and make it a point to get the kids outside in the fresh air more often than other places we considered, which we feel is critical for their development. Our son’s high energy is always well spent by the time he gets home which means he sleeps well at night! Thank you so much to the team at the Big Playhouse for giving us the peace of mind knowing our son is well loved and cared for.

We feel like we won the lottery by finding this daycare for our daughter. She has been going since Sept 2021 and from the get go, we have really loved the communication we have gotten from both management and the teachers. She had never been a great crib napper, but the infant teachers patiently worked with her and it didn't take her long to become consistent (something I could never achieve on my own). She loves her friends and her teachers--every day during drop off, she runs to the door and during pick up, we have to chase her and convince her to come home with us. It's been overwhelming becoming a first time parent during the pandemic, but The Big Playhouse has alleviated so much stress related to childcare. I cannot say enough good things about them and feel honoured to get to send my child there.

Fantastic daycare. Our son attends the infant class. The daycare teachers are amazing, so kind and great with the kids. Communication has always been excellent. We get regular updates with photos throughout the day. Our son absolutely loves going to this daycare!
