Ms. Kamkar is an excellent math tutor who enabled me to gain confidence in math, through teaching effective study and note taking strategies. Her lessons are engaging and straightforward, providing examples that allow students to understand concepts at an in depth level and feel prepared heading into tests. She simplifies concepts that can be perceived as complex at a first glance, guiding students on how to approach challenging questions. Ms. Kamkar ensures that her students are able to fully grasp all the material being taught and are on top of their work through teaching time management skills. She is a dedicated and kind tutor who strives for her students to do well - I am very grateful to have worked with for nearly 3 years!

I had a fantastic experience at Capilano Learning Centre! I was working on Math 12, and had difficulty understanding some of the concepts, even with one-on-one instruction from teachers in class. A friend recommended Pari and Capilano Learning Centre. After even just a short time with Pari, I was excelling in Math without nearly as much stress as before. Pari has been tutoring me for six years now and I can not ask for a more organized and attentive tutor. I find her very helpful in preparing me for my tests whether it is by doing the quizzes she makes for me or reviewing specific topics from the textbook.
She can always answer my questions and when I struggle with exercises, she clearly explains the concepts, making them easy to understand. What I probably find most helpful about Pari in comparison to other tutors is her specific knowledge about higher level math courses (she clearly has ALOT of experience). Furthermore, Pari is very positive and her encouragement helps boost my confidence in math. I also really enjoy her approach towards teaching because it’s very personalized. Thanks to her, I have always scored a very high mark on all of my tests. I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone in need of a math tutor.

I had Pari for 10 weeks to help me with my math class and she was amazing. She was kind and patient when I didn’t understand a question and thoroughly explained a lesson to make sure I understood every detail. Her way of teaching wasn’t complicated like other teachers that fly by the lesson and tell you to do the work which resulted in me in getting bad grades because I couldn’t understand the lesson. Pari is the best of the best! She tutored me in math for 9 years from grade 4 through my high school graduation in 2017 and towards the end was like family to me. Her encouraging manner and positive outlook made learning math simple, fun and enjoyable. Pari always encouraged me to set challenging goals and instilled in me the notion that you can do anything you set your mind to! Throughout my middle school years, she even encouraged me to enter regional and provincial math contests, something I never would have imagined without her. She also always made sure to explain why we learn math and how we can see and use it in the real world. As I enter my final semester at New York University, Pari’s wisdom has remained with me and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone!
