My teenage son Kai has been studying with Kristian for 2 years. Unlike some of his other activities, Kai always looks forward to his drum lessons! Kristian keeps things fun and engaging while still leading Kai on a steady trajectory of technical development and artistic growth. My son has studied with Kristian for a few years. While introducing him to the basic drum beats, Kristian has also exposed him to classic rock, jazz and the wider world of percussion. My son truly likes learning the drums, in great part to Kristian's enthusiasm and dedication.

Kristian makes the drums interesting and relatable for both myself and my son. He strives to teach the rudiments and beats from our favourite music and his patience with my son is excellent. I would recommend Kristian for both youth and adult lessons. I can only speak from a beginner students perspective but his professional experience and formal education suggest he could go very deep with more advanced students.
