I moved to Canada a couple of years back. I reached out to Jane requesting her to help with my accounting when a good friend of mine referred her. She is not a client of Jane, but her friends are. Lot of aspects need to align well between one and a professional consultant, viz., approach, trust, communication style, etc., before it could set for a long-term vendor-client relationship. With that, cautiously, Jane was open to help me :-), and she helped with my couple of projects. It has been great working with Jane, she is knowledgeable, detail oriented, collects as much relevant data as possible, comes back and presents various options highlighting the pros and cons of each, and supports in all possible ways to go with the option we choose. This level of transparency and commitment leads to trust. Jane provides a pretty quick turnaround. I know an instance, when she put in additional work for documentation as she believed that was the right thing to do, and she didn’t bring it up for any kind of negotiation. It proves her service mentality. I am impressed with Jane; I look forward to working with her on a long term.

After emigrating from Canada in Sep 2019, I needed an accountant to handle the complexities of my final Canadian tax return (eg. departure tax). I also had identified some errors in several previous returns that I wanted to correct. After some online research, I contact Jane and it was the best decision I could have made. She listened to and quickly understood my circumstances, was patient with my frequent questions, and was accommodating of the timezone difference between us.
