I absolutely LOVE this farmers market. I always find something. 99.9% of the people there are very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this market to anyone and everyone. 😊
Nice little farmer market! Lots of things to look at! Yummy frozen yogurt, empanadas, frozen soup mixes! Great hot sauce to bring home especially if you're into heat!
Wonderful, friendly market just south of Nanaimo. Lots of fresh veggies (just picked that morning), fruits & berries and really nice baked goods. We drive up for the cherry tomatoes (so sweet and juicy) and the baby carrots. Bought a loaf of spelt bread last visit and will definitely be buying that again. A trip here always includes a visit to the "Cookie Lady" for a giant cookie to eat on the way home.
And the fudge, my heart was broken because the fudge lady was not there last Sunday so I could get my fix of Creme Brulee fudge. I have been buying fudge from this vendor for years, starting with the Filberg Festival in the Comox Valley, and she always impresses me with her flavours and the freshness of her fudge. Highly recommended although be warned, it is addictive. Maybe next time it will last long enough for me to take a picture :).
It's a great place to come and support your community and local artisans. Very friendly atmosphere. I am sure as the summer goes on more vegetables will be available but it was still great to do a walkabout and see all the talents people have.
Awesome selection
