Since new management took over I find the cashiers to be very rude and aggressive. I paid with cash and I didn't get the right amount back. I hear them yelling at seniors to hurry up at the till. They only put in totals instead of per item and then total now. I have added up my purchases and I am paying more then I should. A volunteer took items out of my basket and thought I didn't see her bagged it up and put it in her car. Changes and attitude is needed.

First visit. The store is very clean and the staff is friendly. Huge selection of collectibles.

Nice and friendly thrift store. The sorters are happy. I was looking for a small shovel and someone went to see if they had one.

They did, but it was duct taped to what looked like a a plunger stick. It was a fantastic deal, originally priced at $2, but i could have it for $1 lol.

We all had a chuckle, me, my dad, the door person and the sorter salesman. It was a nice moment on a dreary day.

This place has furniture, cds, artworks, jewelry, clothing, books, tools (even those without duct tape) most tools in good serviceable condition and you can find antique tools that are so cool. Tools that are well used but still work because they are quality.

There are also small appliances, and glassware.

Important to note, 30% off on Thursdays. Today when we went (Friday) it was 50% off small appliances.

The cons, clothes are dated.

Worth checking out. Thrift stores are all about the thrill of the chase.

Such nice women working there. Store is very reasonably priced. Currently has a 70% off EVERYTHING end of year sale to make room for new stock. I got some amazing hard to find things there too. One of the best thrift stores in Nanaimo if not the best!
