Island Diesel Injection

I pretty much never leave reviews. I’d imagine most of this shop’s clients are diesel mechanics’ shops. But speaking as a backyard mechanic myself, if you have injector troubles, pop them out and take them here. Small shop. Scientific, precise results. Good rates for pro work. Before I came here my Cummins 1 ton broke down and threw an injector code, I replaced that injector, which overall helped but it still misfired. Then I took all my injectors in here, and at a fair price had them spec’d out. Guess what? A different injector also failed spec tests. Threw no code, I wouldn’t have known. Island then sold me a Bosch remanufactured injector replacement for much less than the big box auto parts store will sell a noname refurbished injector? If you’re a diy person like me, you are lucky to see this review. Legit shop. If you have a socket set, a torque wrench, and a Diesel engine, take your injectors here.

The staff at Island Diesel totally totally bailed me out recently by taking on a difficult and rare injection pump to rebuild. They located the parts and had my customer's work truck back on the road again, with great communication and even enthusiasm! It was great to not have to send the pump off island for repair.
