Don't have disability little card

It's hard to rate a disability resource center. In my mind, if they got angry and tossed me out I'd be inclined to think, "finally! someone heard me!" In any case, anyone who does anything to assist disabled people get five stars and only because I can't give twenty.

Exceptional Customer Service!! This office has handicapped parking and entrance. The entire location is designed to be accessible for Everyone as they try to help people with Disabilities get access to the things that most people take for granted! The people who work here are amazingly knowledgeable about the many programs, educational opportunities and types of assistance that are available and necessary for persons with disabilities. If they don't have an answer, they know where to find it, or who to contact to get the information. I recommend this Office and Especially the People who work here. They manage to be Warm, Welcoming and Empathetic while also being Professional, Efficient and Effective. Many of the staff are volunteers and many of the programs that are available are funded by donation. Please remember that and if possible consider helping if you are able.

I first met these lovely folk before Christmas at the Wellington Library where two of their computer instructors were helping their class find their way with e-mailing and exploring the internet. I was not in the class then, but when I asked if they could help me transfer a Google Street View picture onto my Facebook page they were happy to do so after their class was over and asked if I'd like to be put on the wait list for the next series of classes:)
After Christmas I did get the phone call from Christine and I have been working with Jeffery ever since learning all the skills I need to know to help me publish, post, scan, and store among everything we need to know to use computers.
Jeffery has been so patient with this elderly student. He never gives up no matter how many times I need reminders and slowly I'm beginning to feel comfortable getting everything on the internet that I've been trying to do since we retired.
Coming into the building with Carole's welcome smile, Christine's cheerful hello, and Jeffery's. "What are we going to work on today?" makes Wednesday my favourite day of the week and I shall be very sad when the lessons are over. Thank you for offering this excellent resource:)
