So serene and a wonderful nature walk
It's a good hike. Park at the power lines and hike in from there, otherwise you will miss out and waste a lot of time.
Loved the hike with dogs. After the abyss if you continue, you reach a point where the view is panoramic. Recommended hike. Just be careful around the abyss as it's a deep crack in earth and little carelessness can slip you down in there.
Nice, easy to barely moderate hike. Not too far in. If you want to continue on past the Abyss on the Extension Ridge Trail, I would recommend not going any further than the bench on the rock. At that point, I'd suggest turning back, as the rest is not interesting and it will just get monotonous working your way back to your car.
There are bears and cougars in the area.
Fantastic natural attraction. Easy 1km walk along the extension ridge trail from the parking lot under the power lines.
