Fairwinds Golf Club

Course is pretty good with loads of potential. Greens a little spotty. Very slow play, talked to workers about getting a Marshall out and the workers in the clubhouse did not seem to care.
Had to skip 2 holes to get in before dark and get ahead of the drunk group, making everyone's day less enjoyable than it should. Beer cart was mixing drinks for them on the course and taking upwards of ten minutes to get drinks while there was 3 groups waiting on tee behind them with 2-3 open holes open ahead of them.
Very disappointed with the lack of golf etiquette.

I played this course a couple of years ago .It remains the best course I've played on the island .The staff were wonderful the food outstanding ...Unfortunately 2 years ago I had a total knee replacement and have just got back to playing again. Can only afford to play half a dozen times a year on my pension but this course is a must .Hope to make it up there this year but if not definitely next year ...5 stars ...staff ..food...golf ..top notch.

Nice sunny afternoon, have a nice Mojito with delicious lunch, sit in a beautiful exquisite fancy patio and enjoy friendly service, nice golf courses for sure! It is one of the most beautiful places in Nanaimo that I want to visit again!

Best covid patio precautions I've seen in or out of Vancouver. Great staff and food.

Amazing facility. Great staff. Great place to grab a bite to eat, and only a stones throw from our front door. Looking forward to many more sunny days on the fairways. Thanks!!
