During Covid time in Victoria I went looking for an electric vest. Unfortunately none of the local stores had any vests whatsoever, except for one very very huge size, two sizes bigger than what I needed. But I was preparing for a tour to the Arctic Circle, so I had no choice and bought it. After I took it home, I saw on the tag that the Black Jack Vest came from Errington BC, a small town “Up-Island” and within a short drive. I called Ron and he was so helpful. Not only did he allow me to swap out the vest, but he custom made a tall version in just a few days for a small amount of extra dollars to make up the difference. Now I have a vest that fits me perfect. Ron aims to please and his Black Jack product is made of very high quality materials and does its job of keeping you warm. He mentioned that if there was anything wrong with the vest electrics in future, I simply take it back for a repair. If the repair is beyond the warranty period, he would replace the electrics for a very reasonable fee. I would certainly recommend purchasing a Black Jack Vest.

I’ve had a Black Jack heated m/c vest for years. I think after too many years of crushing, rolling, folding and stuffing into saddle bags, I had an intermittent connection issue. These guys were awesome! I was very willing to pay for rewiring it but was simply told they stand behind all their products 100%. They only charged a nominal $30 to repair, install new connector with on/off switch, stitch it closed where I had opened it up in an attempt to try to repair it myself on the road, and ship it back to me. Great job, speedy service, great to see there are still great local companies around!

I bought this vest from a recomendation from a friend who owned a Black Jack jacket liner for several years. The quality of this vest appears to be very good. The heat is nicely distributed all over the vest not just spot heat. I bought a size 40" for my 39.5" chest size and it fit perfect. Snug but defintely not tight anywhere on me. I had to call in to fix an error in my shipping address and someone picked up the phone right away. The vest arrived in 7 days to Ottawa, Ontario. I would buy from this comapany again.
