“I’m 25 now and I’ve been coming here since I was 6, with my dad. I do miss the old owners , however the people that bought this business have done such an amazing job at revamping the campground. It’s more lush and they really put some care into the place. I do miss the shed by the beach where you used to be able to play darts, as well as the arcade room but I probably wouldn’t go into either nowadays anyways. Last year for the first time I did notice 2 people living on the grassy fields, one in an old RV and the other under a tarp that clearly looked homeless. That’s a little worrying. But I’ll be back again this year once it opens up and hopefully their not there. I think the owners let them stay for the summer which is unlike them but it seemed to be Covid related. Many more good times to come at this park. I would recommend anyone to bring your family here! Stay safe an keep on keepin on!”

“I’ve lost track of how many years I have been going to Sherry for my cuts n’ colours. Every time I go there, I leave that beautiful little shop in the country with a spring in my step. I could walk into Sherry’s hair salon in the darkest of moods and hands down I will leave there not only with a fresh hair cut, or colour, but a fresh outlook on my day. It is easy to sit and wait for a colour treatment while being entertained by all the hummingbirds and beautifully coloured finches coming to the feeders through the picture window over-looking an expansive field with fruit trees. You would never imagine such a beautiful gem of a hair salon could be only minutes from downtown Parksville.”

“The best facility for families that i have seen in a long time. The round about set up is awesome, the paved roads for the kids to ride bikes was a huge hit. Our family loved that there was something for each of us, from tenting to cabins we had so much choice. The river beach area is phenomenal, love that it is private to the resort. I found the staff to be so friendly, housekeepers to the front office everyone was very nice and accommodating. I think this place should have more than 2 stars as its the perfect beach and river venue around”

“This is one of the best mini golf courses I have been at. Lots of shade, fun land-scaping and 2 sets of holes. There is the mountain path and the lagoon path. “When I had my first look at the live website your design team created for Energizing Young Voters, I was overwhelmed -- seriously overwhelmed -- to the point where I had tears come unbidden. The site is engaging, complex and beautiful, as well as easy to navigate – all I could have hoped for and more. Working with the design team was a pleasure. I am by no means tech proficient, and so I needed guidance through parts of the process that were my responsibility. I was encouraged and made to feel I was a partner as I was patiently taught, and patiently assisted. I not only gained an appreciation for how much effort and teamwork goes into making a spectacular site, but feel pretty proud of what I, personally, learned. I’m grateful for that opportunity.
